Hey guys, thought I would make a thread about the Girsan Regard Series of handguns. Have you guys done any mods or any changes to your guns? Post here :)

I will be posting mine soon.
My mods:
1.) Colored in lettering
2.) New grips
3.) Holster

I replaced some springs...recoil and slide stop, bought the wolf trigger spring conversion but haven't installed it yet, Itac holster, bunch of mags, allen head grip screws, tried hogue rubber grips but found then too thick.... just gonna shoot the #### out of it and see how long it lasts :)
I actually have 2, black full-size and compact black railed version.
 
@Hitzy.. what difference did it make on the gun replacing the recoil spring? Thanks :)
@vanguard24... I might do mine in all chrome. Wonder how what would look :S
 
I was over at Wanstalls yesterday and saw one, looked pretty good. I'm not familiar with Beretta but it looked just like one except for the markings and maybe the finish itself. The finish looked "thicker" than the original Beretta. Not sure if it's the same bruniton finish or not. Apparently, these are made by the same factory that was producing Berettas under licence?

Was seriously thinking about getting one of these for only $499.99

They said they've had no returns, and I've read some reviews that it shoots very straight.

I put 1500 rounds through my stainless, and only about 450 or so through the black one so far.

Not one functional problem with either one yet. They have never fired a factory round, only my handloads.

I happy with the accuracy.
 
I just bought My GSG 1911 and the guy at the gun store showed me the Girsan Regard Full Size bright white and just fell in love with the gun , it has good weight to the gun witch is a good thing for recoil , the guide rod is steel and I said this gun is bought 1,100 bucks later lol that's with my GSG 1911 lol

ya at the gun club I belong to only can shoot lead amo so I am getting Lead Reloads do you think my Girsan Full size compact will shoot them ok ?
