Ive been sitting here just waiting for the day to get back out in the shallow water, point the shotgun up at some ducks and have some delicious dinner, cant wait, getting cabin fever just thinking about it, is everyone ready for the new season yet?

Ive been dreeming of the same thing... but im not as ready as id like to be.... im fact i think ill go go spend the day scouting for geese and running the dogs out of the canoe since geese open up in 5 days.....good luck on your season

I've been shooting reloads for the 308 and 300wsm for two months trying to find the perfect loads for deer and moose.
I'm at the good enough stage (still not perfect) but running out of time. I have one more shift at work then gone moose hunting for
2 weeks!

yup same, tryed to go out last yr right before christmas, was pumped up and found an inch of ice on the water a good km out, tryed to venture out but no luck after 50 ft and sinking in 8 in mud.
