Grizzly Mag #### thread

What optic mount is that? I have had a bi_ch of a time finding one that would fit. The 870 mount holes wouldn't line up on mine.

I had the same problem, every one I bought similar to this rail, the holes never lined up by few mm and couldn't get it on, so I quit and just got regular top rail mounted on.

Make sure you don't sell one of those super scary "assault-style semi-automatic rifles" or the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit may be knocking on your door to confiscate your toys.

LOL! That's my laywer's wet dream. :)

Sadly, I've had to let a couple of these go over the years (this was taken a couple years back). The XCR, Sig, and black VZ (which was one of the original unobtanium NR chromed lined) are all gone.

To answer the NR question... yes, all of these are non-restricted. I was cleaning out the safe and took a "family" shot. None of them are stored with the magazines in of course, that's just for show. :) And of course, the restricteds are all trigger locked as well.

For the Grizz rail setup, I've had it for a while but I'm pretty sure it;s the S&J setup. They might not make it anymore, but it does sit pretty on the 12" barrel. I'll snap some other pics next time I'm in the safe.

Ok, I thought it may be the high tube adapter with top rail from S&J. Fairly pricey but it looks nice. I have been debating over high tube vs low tube. I understand you won't be able to use irons with that mount. Hence the buis you are using I guess.

My 15" Grizzly mag shotgun came with a front sight but no rear sight. It just had two small holes on the receiver. Do you think I could find a rail to line up with those holes? I searched high and low. It wasn't until I saw these pics that I realized those two holes were for a ramp style rear sight...duh. So to get a mount to fit I have to either have a piece of rail custom cut, drilled and tapped or use one of those stock adapters with the mount attached to it (like the Mesa Tactical). I don't mind the irons but nice to be able to add a red dot or laser.

buy a section of rail and drill and tap to match the rail holes you dont need a custom rail made.

I actally have a section of rail that I already bought. The problem is that the holes and srews are quite small that are existing. So I either have to enlarge those holes and tap them or just ignore them and make my own. I will likely make my own as I may want to go back to the original irons.

Drill new receiver holes you'll end up with extra holes but the rail will cover them. Sorry havingntrouble understanding your post for some reason.

Can the mag's be stored in that void??? :ninja::ninja::evil::canadaFlag:
There is a screw in insert that holds the shells, so you could might be able make your own insert out of wood.
Edit: According to MS Paint the mag is about 1/4" too long, you would have to do a bit of gouging. But Maybe.
You might be able to cut it down to a pistol grip that would be over 26" OAL on the 12". For whatever good that might do you.
Who was the supplier??
I'd like too know too :)
