.357 Magnum ammo

Stay away from PMC !!! I've had many many FTF from 2 different 1000 batches. I'm talking 3-5 FTF in 50 rounds. 2 different S&W Will never buy it again.

I'm about $7./50rnds (158gr LRN pills). Nice thing about revolvers is you don't have to go chasing after your brass.
Oh, and I can load wussy rounds too.

Is this for real? I didn't realize it could be so cheap.

only because i cast my own bullets and get my lead close to free. the bullet/shot/slugs in any round are typically the most expensive part. also i don't count my time as i enjoy reloading and casting (most parts anyway) and i don't count my equipment either. even if i did count the equipment i have more then paid for it in reloads for my 500mag. if i was shooting cheap factory loads ($3 per shot) i would be close to $2000 in ammo, i don't have that much equipment yet, but close.

lol, the 357 is a pussycat to start with :) If i could find one for a decent price i would love a 357 maximum.

Thanks for the info guys. It's a goof start for pricing and which sites have which supplies. Going to start piecing together gear for loading my own soon. Does anybody use lead tire weights to cast their own bullets? I've heard of people doing that.

oh yes, they make great bullets, grab as much as you can when you can. worst case you sell it on here, or for scrap metal.

check out cast boolits for alot more info on that.

i cast for everything i shoot accept 22's (9mm, 38/357, 45acp, 500mag) if i shot more 12 gauge i would cast slugs and buckshot, but i don't so factory is fine, but i do have a mec 600 i've used a few times.

Curious. What are you shooting 357 in that is a semi? Coonan, DE?

OR, are you meaning failure to fire? I took it as failure to feed.

Thanks
