Exorbitant prices??

So I was browsing, and noticed a poster on the EE selling some Reloder and H powder.
He was asking $50.00/lb for it.

I have no need or desire to buy it, but PM'd him anyway to let him know that his prices seemed
quite high, and that perhaps the shortage had put $$ in his eyes.

He did not appreciate my comments, PM'd me back with quite the insult, lol.

Some just do not take a bit of criticism well.
He found a nice spot on my ignore list. :)

Some prices on the EE are quite the joke....but hey, if someone is willing to pay that price for powder when you can get it for less than 35.00/lb, more power to him.
There are lots of rifles on there listed at more than new from a dealer too!

Look here you trouble making dinosaur. I paid $42/pound plus tax for the rl 17 and only had the option of one pound containers. When I bought the rl 17, it was near impossible to find. I've already had numerous parties interested in purchasing the lot, but I have no intention of shipping. I spoke to a rep from Alliance last week and he said it could be another five years before we see their powder up here. Eagleeye, why should I give my #### away to make you happy? Find another source you broke-ass-lying-lowballer.
 
This stuff rubs my fanny also Eagleye.There are some folks that just plain lack character.

These are the same time that would financially take advantage of a son/daughter , mother/father or someone in hardship.

I understand supply and demand, I also understand that turning a profit isn't a bad thing in many cases.

But if you buy a lawnmower at the neighbors garage sale for $50 and try sell it at yours for $75 the next weekend , well I sure hope you never ask for my help.

Wasn't something similar happening during the Calgary floods with water and ice?

These are the folks that I like to stay stuck in the ditch as I drive by with my 4x4 and tow rope. :)

Maybe someone is mad that they paid too much in the first place.

OH and IBTL.
 
I know a buddy that buys guns and sells them on EE for more than what he paid after he has used them to his satisfaction! So "Caveat Emptor" Let the buyer beware, some items sit there for months, and months..........
