Just got my 870 back from TACORD. Casey gave some loving attention to my shotty.

Wilson Combat Scattergun sights with tritium inserts, and porting.

Took her for a test run today. She shot very well, very easy and fast to acquire and reacquire sight picture.

Casey does good work....and worth the wait. He's one busy guy!
Did he give your SG the back bore treatment as well? Really tightens up the groupings at 25yrds with 00buck.

No I didn't have him Vang comp the bore at all. Partially because I couldn't afford it this time around and also because I just don't need it right now. Next year maybe! As for the work he did, yes excellent work and well worth the wait.
 
The no BS 870P. I'm debating installing my Scattergun ghost rings...it's just so sleek without them.

don't, it does look better as is and I found the "ghost ring" didn't work that well really... you'll be much faster with the Dlask blade.

Hmm.. How on earth did you find that the ghost ring didn't work that well really?

This is my second 870P - my first 870P had the Scattergun Tech ghost rings as well a 12.5" Dlask barrel (but the big Scattergun Tech front post was only mounted on my 18.5" barrel whereas the 12.5" had the above pictured smaller front post). The ghost ring setup on the 18.5" barrel was ALMOST as close in speed as it was with my Aimpoint Micro T1 mounted on it. Almost.

I have the ST ghost ring setup ready to be installed, and an extra ST front post for this 12.5" barrel. The only reason to leave it off would be to prevent it from snagging on tree leaves or something. Ultimately I would like a set of LPA ghost rings but they seem to be impossible to find.
