Boyd's Hunting Rigs.. Who's got 'em?

There was quite a bit of fitting for the M94. However because it was a generic fit for any small ring Mauser, I think that's to be expected. There was no extra inletting required for the magazine other than for fit.

I imagine that a stock made for a specific rifle such as your Savage 111, the initial fit would be much better.

Beautiful rifles, guys. I'm getting a lot of mixed info from other sites, though. Are Boyd's stocks available for detachable box magazines as a drop in, or do you still have to do your own inletting to maintain the magazine? I'd like to have one, but only if I can keep the DBM.

Heres my P17 sporter in a Boyds prairie hunter stock . The stock fits perfect and has reinforcing screws, just did some bedding.

I have the forest camo on my marlin 60 and the pepper on my remington 7400.Waiting for them to come out with one for the savage edge and I want one for it in nutmeg.

Has anyone here put one on a ruger Alaskan with the 20" barrel? I am thinking about getting one for mine but am not sure how it will balance out with the short barrel. Also not sure if the barrel channel will be cut out enough for the heavier barrel profile for the 375 ruger.

Yes it is. It looks great with the Ruger Mk2 stainless finish.

When I am at the range this rifle usually attracts a fair bit of attention from other shooters.

I'm sure you've had a few folks comment that it is a bit "flashy" for hunting, but I think its an excellent looking rifle.

I have bought 2 stocks from them, one was for a pre 64 Winchester 88,had to do a little sanding to get drop mag to lock into place and I also had to drill the front mounting hole out and install a pillar in it,but not to much work.I also bought one for my weatherby vanguard and fit perfect.

I hope we can these stocks with more options!
I have a ruger M77, tang safety that I would love to get a prairie hunter style stock!
Checkered hand grip and fore stock,
Decellerator recoil pad, etc.

I would have to get it fully inletted for a drop in fit. (Of course a bit of work may need to be done).

The buttstock portion would need to be for a left handed person (the cheek piece reversed).

Last week they had a huge announcement on their front page stating they could now ship product up to $500.00 to Canada. This week it is gone ????????????

Has anyone followed up with this or gotten any sort of confirmation?
