The archangel mosin nagant stock is amazing. The kit is very easily installed and very comfortable. Hical had fantastic service and very knowledgeable employees. The two combined makes it the only place I would by from.

The stock itself though is very fitting, with the cheek riser and the stock length adjuster. Its a solid product all round and give a 100 dollar surplus gun a mean new modern look. The 10 rd clip is also a nice feature. None of it has been field tested yet but definitely cannot wait to get out there. The only thing I will say is get a Russian mosin because the finnish mosins did not seem to fit as nice and also feel a bit cheaper.

Thanks again Hical and cannot wait until the sks!

Exactly. Never heard of a stock coming with clips before. Maybe a magazine?

So after a field test with the mosin. The 5 and 10 rd mag do not chamber as well I would have liked. It chambered once after firing, the next bullet would be to low to catch on the bolt. Only after I had removed the magazine and placed it back in did it catch again to be fired. Now this set up I had was with a finnish mosin im not sure if that would make a difference, I was going to place a Russian mosin in the stock and see if the same issue comes up.

For all you guys that don't know it yet;

Clip and magazine mean the exact same thing.

That is according to the most recent dictionary (which is constantly being updated).

At one time, the word clip was not interchangeable with magazine. But not anymore.

Quoted from the Webster's Online Dictionary;

: a device to hold cartridges for charging the magazines of some rifles; also : a magazine from which ammunition is fed into the chamber of a firearm

Heres the shop demo:

Nice, a 10 round magazine for a 7.62x54R bolt gun that just so happens to fit into a SVT?
I'm wondering if the magazine needs an adjustment to feed corectly.....how does if possibly feed correctly from a removable mag with feeding lips and the interrupter in the receiver? Seems one or the other would have to go in order to function right.

How a Finnish mosin can feel cheaper than a Russian ???

The Finish mosin-nagants feel cheaper? LoL you are joking right? It will be luck of the draw weather or not YOUR mosin-nagant will fit without trimming or bedding. No two mosin-nagants are the same. There are three distinct receiver styles and even within those 3 styles there are a wide set of variances. They were not precision engineered but expediently produced. As for the finish mosin nagants.....I would trade you Russian mosin for a Finish one. Sako and others took Russian Mosins, rearsenald them, trued their receivers, upgraded their triggers and gave them tight,straight, and smooth .3095" sako barrels to replace their .312"-.316" rough,crooked,ecentical, flared, worn out Russian ones.

where the mag feeds the bullet in there is that one little piece that stops the bullet from rising any higher unless you slam the mag in. I was thinking of modifying that particular piece to allow the bullet to just slide in without stopping
