Upcoming Customer appreciation day Sept 7/2013

My only complaint would be the long wait to get to the firing line(s). Too many guns at the pistol position in particular made for hour plus waits.

It was a hoot otherwise. The big 50 didn't kick near as hard as I expected. I loved that Krieghoff Semprio. One of those in 6.5x55 would be on my list if I fell into some mad money. The 460 nitro.....my shoulder is, quite literally, hamburger. Quite the most brutal little thing I've ever sent lead forth from. A blast, but I'll treasure the memory rather than shoot one again, thanks ;)
 
Hmm I had no pain what so ever from the .470
Nitro express. I'd love to own something similar one day, what a "blast" to shoot.

In fact I find 3.5" 12ga harsher!

Fun people to chat with and BS with wish I would have asked people if they were on CGN and there name but ahhh what to do with all the eye candy around.... Yes the firearms! LOL
I will agree with Mark -II and say maybe there should have been more range officers to help the kiddies along just to get things moving faster but it was fun just the same.
 
I know the winner of the second one also purchased a Ruger SR556, an Eotech EXPS2-2 and some 9mm ammo.

We will be announcing the names of all the major prize winners on Monday. Thanks to everyone for supporting us it was a great day. We had not help a range day before at the same time, I was surprized how popular it was, it really stretched our resources. I will be employing extra range officers next year, but when you have a mixture of experienced and new shooters who have questions to answer it is differcult to hurry people through. There is also a shortage of experienced range officers, I especially enjoying seeing the smiles on the new (young) shooters faces, so I didn't want to hurry them. A special thank you to all my staff for the hard work they put in all day, it was a pleasure to Bar-B-Q them ribs and sausage for supper.

Damn now you tell me.......... I knew I had to stick around longer for something....... :(
It was fun seeing all the kiddies and young ones shooting, plus I seen something I normally don't see too much of at a range Females shooting......... That was nice to see!
So this was the first time you had a range event also at same time...hmmm good to know... next year same time same place ??? :)

I do have to ask do you sell or can you direct me to where I can pick up those pepper poppers like you had at 100 m 200 m and 300 m that auto reset, I love those things.

Next year we will host WOLVERINE DAY, similar date but idealy before the long week end not after it! We will build on the range event, it was very popular, I will be looking for more range officers and have at least 10 different stages plus the clay trap for the bird guns. We will keep the fifty stage, have a Nitro Express stage, add a varmint stage, spread out the handguns, have an XCR added to the Daniel Defence carbine stage and add a tactical shotgun using the UTAS and "project X", and hopefully a CZ 958 stage, so if you feel you are qualified to work as a range officer or RO,s assistant (fetching snacks, water and loading mags) send me a e-mail, the pay is poor but the food and drink afterwards will more than make up for that! See you all next year.

Supply the ammo and food and all is good...BTW please bring in more .50 BMG for that day ...LOL ohh and a semi to unload it from US style...LOL
