I await they're response too late to get a response atm anyways too late in day

If it was their mistake that got you the wrong ammo, why do you think YOU would pay the return fee? If they sent the wrong ammo I am sure they would pay the return fee, only makes sense.

Where do you actually live? What town. PM me if you don't want to broadcast it. I am just curious how much ammo you bought, and how much they charged for shipping? I was under the impression that they wouldn't ship up here, only Edmonton. Cheers, and thanks for any insight. Might be ordering some handgun ammo if they do ship up here.

I ordered 6.5 x 55 from these guys. After 3 weeks, no shipment.

I contacted them numerous times to find out that they 'think' they accidentally sent my order to somebody else. 5 - 6 weeks in, still no refund.

They are slow and they have a disclaimer to that effect on their website. They don't respond to emails but if you wait long enough it will show up.

That said the only reason I would use them again is if they have some product that I can't get anywhere else.

Other suppliers ship in a day and provide status updates but if they don't have what you want it's may be worth the wait

I've always had positive experiences dealing with CanAm. I think that it will all work out in the end, they are a good dealer.

Ditto that ...

Ordering online is certainly convenient, but I personally don't purchase over the Internet unless it's something I can't get locally / face to face. (5.56 ammo, LMT, LWRC, etc.)

I have found that 80% of the retailers here took stock of their shipping depts before jumping into the online sales game, and hired the staff + developed the procedures to make it all work smoothly - Wanstalls & TSE are stellar examples.

CanadaAmmo's an honest outfit - I think they just 'jumped in the deep end' in regards to online sales demand.

Having said that - their ammo cans ARE brand new / perfect as advertised - so I will order again in the future, patiently wait, then make the obligatory 'reminder' enquiry after a few weeks, and then thoroughly enjoy my cans when they eventually arrive a week later!

I hope your issue gets resolved, but I have to say I love your attitude..."wrong ammo came...oh well...guess I'll buy a gun to match it." You sir, are a true gun nut!

I was going to contact them and add a crate of .223 to my 7.62x51 order but if the wait times are in excess of 4 weeks for in stock items then I may have to rethink it and cancel my oreder.

CanadaAmmo is a great company; they shipped me the wrong ammo once and I got all bent out of shape about sending it back via Canada Post (CP doesn't allow ammo to be shipped).
To make things right, CanadaAmmo agreed to sell me the wrong ammo (7.62x51mm as it happens) at a huge discount and shipped the correct stuff out right away.
Great company, they got what I want for what I want to pay.

Pick up the phone and call them. I've been ordering from them for a year or so off and on. NO problems that I've had, sometimes they've been slow but I've ALWAYS received the product with NO hassles. IF there's a problem call them and give them a chance to make it right.

Tradeex did it to me also and just sold me the ammo for about half price, ( I had a gun to shoot it ) and shipped me the right stuff, Canam is similar to tradeex the will make it right for sure!
