Dominion Arms T97NRR Rifle？

So what kinda optics do you guys plan to run? I picked up a Vision King 1.25-5 for starters. Only got cheap rings because I wanna test whether low or medium will work for me and then, chances are XTR's.

I was in the same boat, went with Millet Medium rings after. I'll be throwing a Millet DMS Gen.2 1-4x on mine.

I figured the carry handle is high enough on its own, so the lower I go the better but I didn't wanna experiment with expensive ones in case there are any fit issues, so I ordered the $5.99 el-cheapos in both. The Vision King should be ok to start with and I can always move it to a 10/22 later on, when I decide to upgrade my centerfire optics.
 
^ I thought the same thing, but after measuring it up, it looked like the magnification knob might strike the rail that low for the DMS. And I figured i wouldn't notice the 1/2" of rise if it'd save me fitment issues. I'll let you know as soon as I get it mounted, hopefully sooner than later, as we're all feeling! haha
 
That was my concern too, especially if I ghetto something for quick magnification changes. It really depends on where the scope will sit on the rail for proper eye relief. Having never handled the rifle, can't say either way.
 
Just a reminder to the optimists to avoid disappointment, fall is a season not a day. :)

And I'm pretty sure it was addressed in another thread, but so far as I know, there would simply need to be a note/amendment to the existing FRT to include the same rifle marketed under a different name, not an entirely different FRT altogether. Anyone have a link to other Norinco/Dominion Arms firearm FRT's to compare?
 
Fall ETA :( Experience tells us expect end of fall (early winter) so at least 3 more months.

Really like to get it from CanAm but likely 3+ months wait vs. from another sponsor today. What to do???
 
Been waiting almost 4 years already...a couple of months more won't matter for me. :) (maybe I'll get lucky and get the rail included...hmmmm)
 
I dont mind spending, but there why should i pay 200.00 more, it is a busy time this time of year ( hunting, travelling), will get it early winter, when everything go back to quiet and we will have our 97 at 200.00 less... Why not... JP.
 
There is no reason for a 3 months delay the gun is exactly like the NSR model delayed maybe for a week or two... Fall start on september 21st, I'm expecting my NRR at the latest in october !

Obviously you haven't been here long. A Sept/early Oct time frame would have been announce as such rather than "still fall"; sorry for the reality check :evil:
