I have a friend looking for a non-restricted Classic Green. He insists on new, so I'm wondering if anyone is aware of a dealer who has these rifles in stock? I've found Carbines and Target Specials, but no Classic Green rifles at the places I've checked. Are there any recent imports or imports expected in the near future?

They are being reclasified so who knows when if ever we will see them in stock again. Im hopping this goes allright becuase its on my must have list.

Incorrect. They are being looked into...thanks to a dealer getting his panties in a knot, if he can't make the money he wants = ####s over everyone.

I can't even sell my 17.9" carbine swiss arms rifle, at the price I'm selling it for 3-4 months ago it would be gone in a second, and it has a new B&T rail. excellent rifle!! did you eventually find one ?

I think maybe part of your issue is that your rifle is restricted. IMO part of the major appeal with the SAN rifles is you get a rifle of that standard thats also NR. Also with the threat of a possible reclassification hanging over our heads,i personally would try and find a NR one if i were in the market, but thats just me(restricted rifles always seem to be confiscated first). Your rifle is definitely sweet though and at a great price IMO.

I have been looking for a Heavy Metal and Blue Star for years, I would even consider a Red Devil and have found nothing for sale.

I never knew Blue Stars were so desirable. I have one sitting in my safe, no time to go to the range really. I always thought people wanted "tactical' colors. When I bought it the black and green ones were not even available yet.

About 8 years ago the Blue Stars were selling for less then the Black Specials - people were buying them and having the color changed, I think the Blue Star might just be collectible now, due to the number that were blacked out.

My thought exactly. But I guess if somebody has a goal of creating a collection of them in all colors, then I would understand.
