You goto gun stores and do they have trigger locks and etc on their restricted firearms? Nope. Just because its the "evil police" you think you're smart by making dumb comments. Get a life.

If any one of us had done anything like this the lawmen would have come down on us like a tonne of bricks and you know it. Unsafe storage would be the least of the charges brought against us. I firmly oppose turning LEOs into a special class of citizens. They are civilians just like us, that they should obey the same laws seems obvious.

Police don't need that "firepower" for the "average Joe". They need it for the drug dealers and gang bangers carrying ak47s and tec9s being smuggled up from the states. When police officers are not busy 'infringing on your rights', they are actually out there trying to arrest criminals, believe it or not.

Maybe services should stop nicely trying to show members of the public their kit, as was the case here. It's one less thing for people to complain about.

All the more reason "Average Joe" needs firepower, the police aren't the only ones in conflict with criminals you know...

I see vert grips(for some not for others) and poor light placement are still popular amongst the striped pants. As are what appears to be the hideous green 3 point strangler, err I mean slings and poorly designed stock pistol grip for the AR.

It isn't uncommon. Hard to wear out a lower receiver, might as well upgrade it over time. Cheaper than buying a whole new gun.

Great idea! From now on law enforcement shouldn't be able to carry loaded firearms, have prohibited weapons, drive faster than the posted speed limit or arrest you for breaking the law or question you for any reason. This should make things run much smoother.

Most criminal offences can be stopped and arrests made by anyone.

As much as we think that individual police officers should be held to account to the public, general cop bashing threads will nor be allowed, not will advocating violence or illegal activity.

Generalized bashing about police officers or the military will be treated the same as racist comments. Please be careful what you post and remember that it reflects on all firearms owners.
