CSA Vz58 Magwell Adapter - XCR Mags?

Yes - I know. I've searched it - and the residing response to the question appears to be no... BUT

I would like you all to look very closely at this video - up until now, I thought that this was a cz858 wearing a B&T magwell adapter - but look closer and you will notice that the adapter used is actually a CSA polymer 5.56 adapter. The author claims to have had this work done by wolverine supplies - and that it is - infact 7.62x39.

Experts please chime in here!

Also it would be nice to hear from someone (WHOS ACTUALLY TRIED) to fit and fire xcr magazines in a CSA mag adapter - rather than speculation..

The answer is a definite maybe. 5440fight has a 7.5" CSA in x39 that runs just fine with the 5.56 adapter. I have an 11.8" carbine that needs a spot of machining to provide clearance for the very front corner of the mags to seat fully. The 5.56 adapter fits just fine in my receiver, though. The machining required on mine is pretty minimal, but I have been stupid busy this summer and haven't had time to get over to a buddy's place and get the work done. Once I do I will post a report on what was required and how everything worked out.
