I recently checked out the 93 and it shouldered like a dream, but my buddy showed me the CZ rimfire which is $80 more, but has received slightly better reviews. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have a model 93 and I love it. I bet I would love the CZ as well. My 93 is very accurate. I was shooting wasps at 67 yards. Not at wasps, shooting wasps. This is the rifle I want to use in our range's egg shoot.

$80 isn't that much. It's two cases of beer.

I put a redfield scope of good quality on it.

I had about 8 salvages in the past 2 years. Sold them all and got some cz. Quality is way better for not much more and accuracy for me is way better. There is no comparison. It is very worth it. The cz's will last a lifetime and look amazing doing it.

Savage makes a decent 22. CZ is just nicer. If you have the extra cash then go for the CZ. Or spend the extra on a better scope and take the Canadian made Savage!

Just a little correction. The 452 STYLE was not made of stainless steel but was rather nickel plated.

The CZ Style was the only thing "comparable" to the SS Savage I could think of, but yes technically it is nickel plated, not stainless.
I'd take a CZ over a Savage 10 times out of 10.

Youd have to pay me to get a savage now. Canadian made or not. Just cheap tin made into a gun. But we will leave that for a different thread.
