Rifles you love to hate...

I must say, anything built by mossberg feels like it was won as a consolation prize at a ball toss booth. Ruger 10/22's are kind of vulgar as well, if they shoot so well, why is there such an aftermarket? Anything that looks like an AK/AR doesn't do a damned thing for me, I prefer wood and calibers other than varmint rounds. Who makes those laminate skeleton stocks, they deserve a special place in hell...

Browning BLR... a squared lever action with a detachable mag... go figure... the ugliest rifle known to mankind...

They look the same, but one works all the time and the other doesn't. They don't refer to the 760/7600s as a JAM-MASTER. :p

I've not owned any 740 or 7400's but 750's + 7600, my 750's have never FTF or had any problems. There as reliable as any gun I own or have owned. They just keep on working flawlessly.

BLR.....only one that has ever let me down in the heat of the hunt.
Letting their so called alum-alloy receiver cool before I can eject a fired case is BS
I sold it and bought a 99....:stirthepot2:

Try hitting the animal in the first 10 shots  :D

They aren't pretty but my Dads 300 was a tack driver for having that crappy trigger.

TC Encore ( or anything TC, really ). Most ungainly looking excuse for a single shot. So sick of seeing them everytime I turn on WildTV, like they're the greatest thing since smokeless powder, yet I don't know a single person that actually owns one.

Really handsome sporting rifles have been made for well over 100 years now, why is it so hard to follow the example??

Agreed. Every time I pick a TC up I throw up a little into my mouth. :)

I don't understand the hate on for the cooey, I think that every young man has learned to shoot on a cooey. I know that when I have a son there will be a cooey single shot to be had as its a right of passage
