Bushnell Sharpshooter went belly up!

I have a couple of Savage Axis XP rifles and the scope on one just gave up the ghost. Looks like an internal lens let go and turned....giving a kaleidoscope effect. Has anyone tried sending one of these Sharpshooter scopes back to Bushnell Canada for repair? If so, how did things go? How long did it take? Is it really worth the effort?

IMO probably not worth the effort. It's a $40 scope and you'll spend $10 for return shipping plus whatever it costs to send it to Bushnell (probably another $10-15). Get a decent scope (Weaver, Redfield, etc.) and be happy.

This. I have a couple Redfields and for the price they are a decent scope.
