Hi guys. I just have a quick question. So i have a norinco m305 18.5" and there is a small retaining pin that holds the op rod spring guide to the reciever and is keeps backing out. Im just wondering if there is any quick fixes for this or if im doing somthing wrong?

It normally is not tight but held in place by the stock. There is one particular stock, I dont remember which one, where you have to glue a little piece of Popsicle stick to holt the pin in place.

What do you have, pics are best

This may sound to obvious but is the op rod spring guide installed properly and not backwards/upside down?
I assume the pin backs out when shot right?...... And the pin is the one that goes into the hole on the end of the op rod guide with the tiny arm sticking up for moving pin back and forth, I know this is it and obvious but want to be sure.
Probably wouldn't matter if it was in backwards/upside down but you never know, haven't done it.

Sorry i could give a little more info its a usgi synthetic stock and it backs out when im firing. I notice it when i swap mags because the guide sticks out. Im pretty sure its not upside down ile check when get home from work thanks guys

Yup... yomomma & I guessed the same thing... And the solution is as he said, a little bit of popsicle stick...
