Serbu .50

Isn't five rounds the normal capacity for a .50 BMG mag? No pinning required. We're not talking puny calibers like .308 or smaller. The BMG actually lives up to the MSM's overuse of "high-powered rifle".

Obviously not talking belts...

Not for these rifles they use Barrett M82 mags, so 10 rounds.

Yes , a semi magazine pinned at 5 rounds , i call this an expensive gadget, a bolt action is more reliable and more accurate at lower cost.

But it, s a beautiful gadget :)

I sort of get what you are trying to say, but that is like comparing an M14 with a pinned 5 round magazine, to a single shot bolt action .308... and saying that the m14 is a gadget because the bolt action is more reliable, accurate, lower cost, etc.

Semi automatics have their intended use, which is different than that of a bolt action, and I hate when people put the blanket mentality that single shot is always better than semi auto... that is the kind of thinking that gets guns banned in my opinion.

I don't see how it is different than every other semi auto rifle magazine has to be pinned to 5 in canada, still does not make them gadgets imho.

Kevin M do you have any results of shooting your wicked, incredible, fun, (sooooooo jeaous of), super, duper..."GADGET (WTF?!?!?!)...at a range of 800+ yards? Can you hit a man size target at 1000 yards every shot? If so I would argue it's accurate enough.

Sorry, but where you are ?????

I ' m not a sniper and you ?, i prefer a accurate rifle,, i read somewhere sniping is illegal in Canada

Great another Liberal f:P:

I'll let Ryan Cleckner show how awesome he is with a semi auto 50 BMG " Gadget " Shooting standing, human size steel target at 1000 yards.

Interesting thing. They used to say the same thing about other semi autos. Then the accurized AR started to become known. All of a sudden guys had .5 moa rifles in semi auto with the AR10 and AR15. The spotters for our Canadian snipers started carrying AR10 rifles while the 50 cal bolt action was used for the really long distance shots. The AR10 was viewed accurate at long ranges and used to replace the lower caliber bolt guns for sniper teams. something that back a ways was only for bolt guns.

Now we get to the 50 cal here. Take a close look at the Serbu 50 cal. Look familiar? Direct impingement AR10 style. Not the usual semi auto design known for accuracy loss. In otherwords tactical bolt action accuracy may very well be achievable with the Serbu.

Guys might want to check the prohib list, there are bolt actions on there as well. If the antigun groups had, had there way we wouldn't even be having this discussion all semi's would be banned.

im in put me on the list.... need me to come in and put down a deposit ?

WE have been waiting nearly 6 months for the initial order to be available to be shipped. We have a short window (7 business days) to add 2 or 3 more guns to what we already have on order.
These require a 50% deposit ($4250.00) The guns are supposed to be here in the next 8 to 9 weeks.
