Simpson Auction question

Yeah. Good question! That replacement recoil pad really hurt my eyes! Other than that it looked Very nice.

Just got my email and I Picked up a really nice Remington Model 14 in .30 Rem for $400. It was emailed to me that it had a very good bore and the awesome thing is it is one of the really rare versions with the thumbnail safety on the side of the bolt!!!! WooHoo!!!

awesome pics steve...got anymore?

Most photos of this machine gun used in the dismounted role by Germany seems to be with the SS. Not surprising as the SS had a reputation of using whatever they could get their hands on, in many cases the best equipment was not diverted to them. Not the easiest photos to find but they are out there.

It also saw extensive use with Wehrmacht tank crews, mainly in the 38(T) series built by Škoda Works for Germany between 1939 and 1945.
