We are concentrating on the classification part of the process first. Once that has been completed there will be several different colour options as well as stock options available.

FYI, looks like MSRP in the US is $995 or so for the basic rifle. We will have to wait to see what the Canadian landed cost will be.

Also, no reviews yet posted of this rifle online, despite it now having been "shipped". Waiting patiently here!

Kinda looks like a hybrid xcr/su-16. Looks better made than the su16, not as much plastic to break. I wonder how accurate they will be, do these use AR barrels?

I'm pretty sure the Canadian version will have NOTHING interchangeable with an AR-15. (Other than magazines)

They don't want the RCMP to have any excuse to call it a variant.

I'll be interested in the US reviews. I'm sure if there are problems with these rifles they will be identified long before ours are even classified and given a FRT number.

Hi all,

It appears we are inching ever closer to actually seeing the rifle. Masterpiece Arms has posted a new video on their YouTube channel. It only has a few seconds of the actual rifle in use and a lot of images of CNC machines making parts, but it appears to be the final production rifle in use.

No bolt hold open kinda is a deal breaker to me. Don't mind on a .22lr but on a center fire I kinda want a bolt hold open.
