Any update on the MPAR 556?

The long term damage that this internet auction bullchit does is to make guns less affordable for the masses, and therefore less numbers imported.
The danger here is that those "exclusive" guns are most likely to be reclassified by the RCMP later on.

More affordable means more in country means less chance of a blanket ban.

Good on Blue Line for holding the price down!

Frickin' nice. Once these arrive it'll be a troublesome tossup between a CanAm T97 with M14.ca rail or an MPAR556. Tossup between bullpup and proven design with proven ergonomics.

If it gets classified as NR, I might have the same dilema if the prices are similar. It seems to be assembled carefully and I like that (maybe they took care only for the promo video though!).

I'll watch this one closely for their release date.

I wonder what the price on used AR180s are going to be after this hits the market. I'm pretty sure nobody in their right mind is going to pay $1800-$2000 for a used ar180 when these awesome looking rifles finally hit the market. It's one of the contributing factors in me selling my ar180. With the type 97, and possibly these in the future, I figured I'd sell it while I could still get $1900 for it. I can't wait for these! Here's hoping!

And that there is the kicker. There isn't any reason it should be classified otherwise, but if it is restricted, interest will surely evaporate. Why pay $1200 for this when you can get a decent and well proven AR for that price? However, if it is non-restricted, they will fly off the shelves.

Honestly, I can't see why anyone in their right mind would pay $2000 for a 180B even without the T97 or MPAR on the market.

Can't say I have ever bought one for $2000, but they are a great rifle to carry out in the bush. I love mine...needs a metal formed lower like the MPAR556 though. Should have a hold open like the 180b and just about every other semi out there...

Hey Blue Line,

Do you foresee the possibility of getting ATACS camo versions as likely? Would any other camo/colour options be possible?

Cheers,
Variable

Hi guys,

This is a very long process. We are working on the MPAR-C and we hope to have a sample submitted shortly. When the rifle hopefully gets approved it will be available in all different kinds of colours and finishes such as the ATACS.

Cheers,
Ryan
