Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a full stock to put on my Henry Mares Leg .44 mag. I have searched all of the old posts on the henry mares leg and have not found a concrete answer on which stock I need.

Some say I can get a winchester 94 stock and do a couple small modifications.

Most people have seen to grabbed one off the EE.

I believe there was a group buy someone was going to manufacture some, but apparently it never went through.

My assumption is that it is the same rifle as a Henry Big Boy, so will a stock a stock from one of these work?

If so where do i buy one.

Basically looking for anyone to give me a lead on one or where to buy one from.

Thanks,
Adam

Mine was made from 2 brand new 44 mag Rossi 92, one Hand rifle and one 24 inch octogonal rifle, let say i got some spare parts

[/IMG] and can always come back to original specs since no modifications were needed... JP.

Kind of pointless to spend the money on the toy if you wanted a whole rifle. Be less fuss to buy a Win 94 or whatever.
The RCMP decide those are rifles or restricted? If it's restricted and you make one without registering it, you're an evil criminal.

They are considered rifles. I want the full stock so that I can take it out hunting. The short barrel makes this an excellent bush gun, it just needs a full stock.

Also by getting a full stock I can switch between the two configurations very easily. Keeps the toy aspect and allows it to be functional.

So in case anyone else is interested...

I called Henry and they will not ship to Canada, they told me to find a Henry parts dealer.

So I called up Epps and they are on it, I should have a brand new stock for a henry big boy in a couple weeks. $135
