It's a NO for me. I have a Tavor and my gun safe is full. Perhaps when I can talk the Mrs. into another safe?? Anything is possible.

All I got to say is Cheek Weld + Bad Ergo's = NO SALE
But that is my opinion and I donated over $100 to the legal fund to fight the stupid re-classification scam.

Personally not interested in Chinese made firearms. I like the T97 in that it is a Chinese firearm and not a knockoff. The price is also attractive. Just too many other great guns to buy and shoot before I'd even consider one. I'd rather have an AR 15 and agree there is safety in numbers, more people need AR 15s.

I like mine so far. There is quite a bit of Arkansas windage to be applied between 0 and apex distance at 50/200 0, but it's a very well-made rifle, extremely accurate for the type, handles beautifully. If I sell it, it'll be only if I can't import it where I'll be going in a year or so.

Every gun owner here needs to get one as fast as they can, the more there are the harder it will be for windy and her coven to snatch them later.

No. Not a fan of bullpups in the first place; not a fan of guns with excessive HOB. This is both. To me it's more of a curiosity than anything I'd actually use, and I'm a shooter, not a collector.

Both of the above, I'm out...

If I get my hands on one the first thing I'm going to do is see how viable a re-design of the carry handle and the charging handle would be, as in if they come off easy enough I'll just take em off and machine or 3D print a new design.

I'm thinking rails, lots of rails, and changing the orientation of the charging handle from the vertical to the horizontal. Then I'll try to make the top a slightly raised monolithic rail.

I'd do so many good things to one of these if I had the money to buy one.

I'll take a Tavor any day. The T97 is ugly, Chinese made, useless controls like safety and not left handed friendly.

Oh and I think the price is way more than what it should be considering what a Norinco M4 sells for.

Personally, I'm worried about reclassification - but also having a large community of owners lends itself to more of an ecosystem for parts, aftermarket mods, community driven tech support and problem resolution.

Spare parts come from china I believe?
I haven't see too many spare parts for Chinese firearm.
Also you probably won't get any support from the manufacture.

On another note - unless you've put your address in your profile and user settings, the RCMP would basically have to get a warrant and serve it to GreenTips a warrant to seize his servers. The problem is that would likely cause outages on CGN and most certainly word of mouth about such shenanigans would spread even if CGN didn't go down. It would be an absolute PR nightmare for the RC's and the government if a website with over 100,000 active subscribers was raided to go after a handful of of lippy internet mall Ninja's.

Even the main stream media (who is in the government's pocket already) would go ballistic on them for doing so, as the sites like CGN are effectively the new media - it would set a clear precedent that the government is clamping down on the most revered constitutional right (especially by the main stream media): Section 2(b) of the Charter of Rights and Freedom - the "freedom of the press and other media of communication;"

There's no need to seize servers to obtain information. The police can obtain a production order from a judge to compel the third party holder of the information to provide a copy of the relevant documents to the police. Production orders also have a secrecy clause which prevents the third party information holder from notifying anybody about the release of information to the police; nobody will know that the information was released to police until charges are laid.
