No. To be sub moa you need groups smaller than 1 inch at 100 yards. Hard to do with a true m14, doable with a national match, lets stop the norinco crap propaganda, theres a reason why a national match is nearly 10 times the price of that norinco. You can shoot sub MOA with a good M305, undoubtedly. Finding a good one may take some research and careful shopping, however. I've done groups less than 2 inches with my 18 inch M305 at 100 yards without resting it too thoroughly or being that good of a shooter, and with surplus Norinco ammo no less.
I've tried pretty much all of them except the sg542.
They pretty much all suck accuracy wise, except for the fn.
But that's just my opinion, I'm generally not interested in a rifle if it's not at least got the potential to do five round, sub moa groups on average. All the really accurate 308 semi's are restricted.
Better a Springfield, in sage or jae stock.
Standard M1A, 1.5 MOA,
Loaded 1.0 MOA,
National Match 1.0 MOA.
Of course this all depends on the ammo you are using.
It gets repeated every 2-3 months. The Search function works great here.
Did you try the fnar?
mmmm yes the 542. so much more optics friendly.
And who, pray tell, is stocking the FNAR these days???????
