I know no country has adopted it except the czechs. Plenty of countries use the type 81 wich is loosely ak based. Take a look at the usa vz's, they are relatively cheap there yet everyone buys ak's. the vz obviously has major flaws in reliability take a look at the torture tests the vz just quits as soon as a little dirt touches it.
Thats 100% wrong, sigh....
First of all you should look at the czech built rifle in 7.62x39 not the US built crap, second of all that vz has been seen a whole lot in all the wars of the past 50 years! Even just as recently as Afghanistan with some nato forces trying to look incognito.
I'm not sure we've been seeing the same videos on you tube concerning reliability of the vz.
The czechs have been building their own firearms for a long long long long long time. They know their shiat when it comes to guns, even more so than the russians, the germans and the US.
So when the czechs adopt a rifle as their military standard service rifle, that's a very serious firearm
I'm so very sick and tired of people trashing that uniquely outstanding firearm, and then they go on saying their keltec su-16 or their m305 is the best thing in the world.
My cz858 is the only gun, and I say the only gun in my whole slew of firearms that has never ever caused me any malfunctions whatsoever. And I treat it like crap, hell I only clean it once every 1000 rounds. You know why i always bring it to the range with me? Cause I'm 100% guaranteed that thing will go bang, while all my other guns... who knows.
I can't wait for them to be out again, cause I'll pick up 2 more of them, they're really outstanding and any serious firearms owner here gets what I'm saying.
