This is my son 2 years ago. He had just unwrapped this 455LUX for his 12th birthday present. His grandparents just love me...

You're in BIG twubble now Big O.
They'z iz like Smarties.
You can't have just one......................

I got two...........CZ 452 American and the wee brother Scout.

The Lux certainly is a fine shooter. Seems strange to me that the 455 version has a shorter barrel. My 452 Lux has a 24 inch. Have several one hole groups at 25 yrds. You will be pleased with your purchase.

I have all kinds of different .22lr ammo to try in her and see what she likes. Whats a realistic distance ... 25, 50 or 100? We have those ranges at our's. I'm really digging the idea of iron sites and love that it has a rail already part of the receiver.

I shoot CCI Standard in mine and get good results

Well I bought a CZ455 Varmint a month ago. Havn't been able to even put a round in it since as soon as I got it home from the shop, I noticed a crack under the finish of the stock. Took it apart and noticed that the crack goes all the way through the wood. It was sent back for warranty a month ago and I have no ETA on when I can get a new stock. Makes me very sad. However, I must say that the action is very smooth and the metal feels like a good quality and hopefully will be a good shooter.

Good luck with the 455. They do tend to multiply, started out with an old BRNO #1 then a 452 varmint then couldn't resist a 455 super match. I have a 17 barrel that may become a 17mach2 for the 455.

i would be shooting 50 to 100 yrds. with a cz 25 is kinda boring. my varmint shoots sk or lapua the best. good thing it likes the cheaper stuff. its about $65 a brick. shoots cci standard not too bad but less fliers with the upgraded ammo.
