montana rifles

I am considering the same thing. I contacted Will at Montana rifle and he advises that he can sell me the rifle and ship it to International Shooting supplies in Surrey BC because they have completed all the paperwork to become an importer. Speak to Scott. Perhaps they can order the rifle for you and you just pay them. I have not seen the newer Montana's but they are highly rated. I may take a drive to Kalispell to look at them before making a decision. Corlane sporting goods made a lot of rifles on their actions but no longer do so=don't know why.

"...completed all the paperwork to become an importer..." Importing firearms from the States is about exporting, not importing. The manufacturer is required to have a U.S. Dept of Commerce exporters licence, regardless of where their stuff goes.

I'm not the expert. Manufacturer said he can ship to outfit in Surrey. I guess that you know better.

For your information, I contacted the above mentioned company and they do import the Montana Rifle. They have a couple of extreme weather rifles in stock.

I ordered a 7mm-08 montana from Shooter's Choice in Arrowhead Ab. I would absolutely recommend them - they may even have what ur looking for in stock.

Montana Rifles has the export permits, and the importer has their permits. Stop trolling and go back to knitting.
