Here is a question. Only one entry per person? I have noticed some people offer a number of entries.
 
You retailers should get off FACEBOOK. I won't go there. As you can see by other comments, I am not alone. 2 cents worth ( or now, rounded off to a nickel ).

That's like saying "don't put an ad on the radio because me and my buddies hate music so we won't hear it anyway".
Don't you think retailers want their company out there for as many people as possible to find?

You cant win a contest without entering. and I am 100% sure Wanstalls does not need to advertise to an already dedicated consumer base like CGN. For them Facebook is world wide advertising that is accessible to anyone with an account.

I am more interested to know why proud gun owners would not "like" and contribute to a supporting dealers social media campaign. There is safety in numbers, even if they are anonymous users. If every Canadian were educated about guns, knew how many gun owners were in their neighbourhood, and realized that the hunter next door was not a gun crazed maniac, we would all benefit.

I take friends and neighbours shooting once I trust them and show them how to safely handle and operate firearms. Many of my friends and neighbours have seen my basement and noticed my gun safe. They know I am safe, law abiding, and responsible.

Sorry about the rant. but I hate it when I have to look through a
pages of "I hate facebook" comments to find some actual info on a thread.

I`m going to email Wanstalls my submission. If they choose to disqualify it then so be it. For all those Facebook apologists, if you are comfortable using the service fine. I will not as I feel they are anti-firearm and that`s not cool to me.

Wanstalls if you feel I have hi-jacked this thread please delete my post. I do however love your contest idea and will have an entry inbound to your email address.
 
This is ridiculous. Everyone is just taking away from what the company is trying to do which is get their name out in a different market. They are clearly already established on here but if one person goes on facebook there is a chance of one or two of that persons "friends" seeing it and possibly opening they eyes of others about the market in canada which I think is great.
 
I suggested "The Typhon," the most fearsome of greek mythical creatures, made up of a mishmash of parts with fire blazing from it's many eyes, who defeated Zeus. Appropriate.

But I have to say, I have a soft spot for the name "Plan B."
