Damascus double barrel!!!!!!!!! Pic heavy

I use poly wad vintager 2 1/2" shells in my damascus guns. Pressures are around 5500 psi. By the way Handofzeus, what do you have for a damascus gun? I always like knowing about others who shoot damascus guns.

Old T. Barker hammergun. Not worth much but I had to try the old timey BP thing! Got it rusty and never fully cleaned it. Can't bring myself to get rid of it though. You?

I have a couple of JP Clabroughs and a Chas Smith that I just got back from being restored. One of the Clabroughs will soon be going for a restoration. I also have a James Burrows but it is a muzzle loader from around 1850. I had a few other damascus guns but I sold them this past year. I had a nice 1894 Remington that I wished I would have kept. I have several other SxS's but there is just something about damascus guns that appeal to me, especially if they have quality damascus barrels. You can get some beautiful designs that really stand out if the barrels are refinished by someone who knows how to refinish damascus.

Holy Hannah! that's quite the bunch. I was gung ho at first to bring out the 'design' but the more I rubbed the more pitting I found so I kind of lost interest and never cleaned it up. One day I'll likely sand it down lightly as best I can and hang it on the wall.

Yep, I don't know what I'm talking about because I told him not to shoot a damaged and inherently weak gun.....someone has their head stuck up their ass I'd say. Can you guess who?! BTW I have an old damascus barrelled gun and have shot it (with caution) with BP.

Read your post again. You said nothing about this gun. You spoke about damascus barreled guns. You made no mention of any of the many flaws in this particular gun. You referred to damascus barreled guns in a way that clearly meant ALL damascus barreled guns.

Perhaps you made a mistake and meant to refer to this one. However, we can only go on what you actually type.

Gunsaholic is being polite. I'm being straightforward. You are mistaken. Either in what you meant to type or what you know about damascus and twist barrels.
