Quick Glock help

Hey CGN,

Just got my first Glock today...brand new Gen 3, G-17. Anyways when looking at it I thought some part of the frame looked wired (do not know what part it is) and Google didn't help much. In some pictures the part is straight, in others it is slightly bend and in some it is REALLY bent. What is the part is what it the correct position it is supposed to be in?

It is the bent piece that sticks out over the mag well which I am referring to.

Hey there, what you are referring to is the ejector. The different calibers all have different style ejectors. The G17 gen 3 has a a curve in it due to the 9mm cartridge being smaller whereas on a G22 you'll normally see it straight. The gen 4s also have different style ejectors compared to the gen 3s I have noticed.

You should see the 45 acp Gen 4 . Its really bent, much more so than yours.

Or the new Gen 4 ejectors, it has a bend and a slight twist.
