I'm just putting the finishing touches on a rifle rechambered from .22 Hornet to .22 BR Remington. In a thread I started a few months ago, I discussed tryin to find brass and dies for The BR... I have not had success in this department... Is there anyone out there with a lead on full length sizing dies and/or brass?

At that time I was contacted via PM by a fellow CGNer, who had a set of Redding dies for .22 BR ...I sunsequently deleted the PM and forgot his user name... If you are still out there brother... I will take you up on your offer. Thanks folks, for any info.
 
You can form 22 BR from 6mm BR brass. Lapua brass is always a good choice and if I was looking to buy, I'd contact Hirsch Precision. Have you tried ordering dies from Sinclair?
 
I'll try Hirsch... Sinclair can't get the dies... I would be happy to reform 6BR brass but I don't have 6BR brass either or the die set... Gotta shake some trees... Any help appreciated.
 
It surprises me Sinclair can't get the dies. Did they give you a reason? I've wanted to build a 22BR for a long time but never have gotten any further than forming the brass.

No reason, but I only talked to one guy two months ago... I should try them again... Maybe I would get another story from a different person.

I added to cart, and when I went finalize the order it comes up as out of stock... Will keep trying... Still have to find brass... If anyone runs across any in their travels, PM me. Much appreciated. Thanks.

Even the 22 BR dies that show in stock? That's strange. I guess it depends on what style you're looking for. That link I sent you above listed a 22 BR die that showed in stock. A Redding type S neck bushing set I think.

That is the set that I put in my shopping cart... Shows "in stock" until you press the "finalize order" button, then comes up as "out of stock." I'll try it again from home on my laptop... I was using my BB on the first attempt.
