The mark of a Champion is the guy who can concentrate and shoot bulls for the last few shots when it matters.
 
For those that were interested
Rifle is a Customized MDT TAC21 LA chassis system with Borden Tube Action bedded. Homemade Delrin bagrider foreend and PRS butstock with custom tailstock and MDT adjustable butplate.
Barrel is a Bartlien 30" straight 1 n 9 ,5R chambered in a 7WSM tightneck ,throated long .
I use both Winchester 7WSM brass fully BR prepped and annealed as well as Norma 300WSM "blown out" to full 7WSM. That day I was using leftover US FCN Norma
brass loads using 180 Berger Hybrids (treated) ,CCI BR primed and Retumbo powder.
This was the barrel used at the Eastern Regionals,the USFCN and the WFCC and has 820 rnds on it.
Trigger is a Jewell, scope a March 8-80 MT2 in a DTA 35 moa unimount and the rest is a SEB NEO with Edgewood rear bag.
Other than the misting rain and fog,conditions were pretty steady with a 2 mph maxing 5 pickups .
Vision was a bit of an issue as well as humidity and wet equipment,but as I said ,this rifle just wants to shoot and makes me look good.
Although a magnum case ,the rifle design minimizes felt recoil and tracks very well.
FWIW I believe we were shooting on ICFRA centers which is a 5" v and 10" bull pasted onto the DCRA target.

DCRA / ORA Mons Championship Record maybe... There is not a "records" section under the DCRA for a recognized "Canadian" record.
And since there is no ICFRA (world body) records of individual match scores,there could never truly be any claims for
a world record.
NRA records are for matches shot in the USA and like other countries that keep match records,for matches shot there own country.
Eventually this may change,but in the meantime.....it just felt GOOD.
