Meh, lots of people with varying skill, knowledge, and equipment. I am still proud of my group regardless. No doubt it is a fantastic group that caramel has.

With my rifle at least, not a borrowed gun...

Remington 700 MLR .338LM.

Note that I like to cheat my groups by all means possible by both including and excluding various shots to see what I could have gotten lol. I'm just like that.

Shooting Hornady 250gr HPBT Match bullets over 83.0gr H-1000 in RUAG cases. Note that these cases have not yet been fireformed to my gun, so that could have a small effect too.

All my groups with my Remington 700 MLR .338LM are similar to this, in that three or four shots will be touching, and one or two will get tossed from the group.

Gun has yet to be trued or bedded yet, so those may help to get rid of the flyers, or at least determine if the shooter/ ammo, not the rifle, is the weak link.

That said, I am really happy with the group, even though I know it can and will be improved upon.

For a stock Rem .338 this is very good! Bedding the action and the one piece weaver rail should tighten things up along with opening the barrel channel in the stock. The one piece rails can be pesky sources for stress easy enough to check for it, then if needed bed on side at a time.

Rifle: Stevens 200, 22-250 (100% factory)
Optic: Bushnell Tactical 10x40
Load: 60 gr Sierra HP, 29.0 gr Benchmark, CCI #200
Distance: 200 yards
Shots: 5
Group size: 1.142" (0.571 MOA)

This is my best 5-shot (but others are very close/consistent to this)

This was my best 3-shot group that I wish I could pull off again lol (0.194"). Same rifle, again at 200 yards.

Neat, I will remember that one.

Just sent an email to my gunsmith tonight to see if he can install my new brake and bolt handle.

If the brake is as effective over the factory one as has been claimed, I will be going back to the 300gr SMK's to try some more loads from them.

My best five shot group, prone, off the bi-pod to date.

Rifle: Custom LH Rem 700 .308 by North Shore Barrels, Broughton 30" bbl, 8 oz Timney trigger, Robertson TAC Stock
Optic: Sightron 10-50 x 60 LRTD
Load: Berger 200 Hybrid, Varget, Lapua Brass, CCI BR-2
Distance: 100 yards
Group Size: 5 Shots @ 0.094"

My best to date actually wasn't intentional. I was zeroing the optic for new ammo and this three shot group was enough to tell me where I was hitting.

Rifle: Savage 12 VLP DBM
Optic: Bushnell Elite Tactical 10x40
Load: Hornady Steel Match 223 75 grain BTHP
Distance: 100 yards
Shots: 3
Group size: .132"

.51" at 200 yards 5 shots

savage model 12 action, 26 inch shillen select match 223. 7 twist barrel, rifle basix 2 trigger, yodave laminate benchrest stock, rifle set up for single shot only, weaver t36 scope, bushnell 4x4 rings.

load was (.223 rem), 75gr hornady match bullet, Hornady brass, 23.7gr Varget, 2.260"OAL, CCI 400 primers (tried federal 205M primers and couldn't tell a difference)

my best group with a borrowed rifle in .222 rem 5 shots .144" at 100 yards was my best, this was done for "undertheguns" 100 yard challenge, 5 consecutive 5 shot groups under 1/2".

rifle was a savage F-Class, shillen select match 14 twist barrel, weaver t36 scope, not 100% sure on the rest of the details or the load used. (I still want this rifle)
the rifle belongs to "yodave" awesome gun.
