Newbie question on reloading 9mm

Berry's round nose have no problem going the max distance of 1.169 in CZ chambers. HP an other RN bullets need to be loaded with a shorther OAL to function correctly. OP I wouldn't going longer than the listed max of 1.169. Found that 4.1gr of titegroup at 1.135 with berry's 124gr RN works best out of my shadow

How did you determine 1.135 as OAL....

The one that shot the best today for me was 4.1gn of Tightgroup loaded at 1.150.

Checked my calipers with my back up one, they read the same.

For my cz, which is fed reloads using the Lee Truncated Cone bullets, my OAL is only 1.030. The best way to measure is the one you originally quoted from czfirearms website. I used that method to determine how deep to seat the bullet and it has worked very well with my reloads.

Do you remember your length after you did the push test?

I'm going to test again at 1.150 and drop .010 till I get to 1.110 and see what happen.

Just by trying different charges an different OAL. Found 4.1 an 1.135 worked best for my gun, every gun is ifferent tho so 1.15 an 4.1 may be te ideal OAL an charge for your gun

I guess that's what I'm doing right now. I have some loaded down to 1.110 but can't make it to the range for a few days. Do you find your loads snappy?
