My first ever 3gun match. It was a great and well organized match yet it still turned out to be roughly a 9hr match with no breaks. ended up hurting my knee on stage 3 and sorta walked the rest of the match.

yeah, I've been bitten and bitten hard at that! :D

had an awesome time and met a bunch of great ppl.

"nice" does not begin to describe how it is to not have to reload after 5 or 10rnds!! The guys were looking at me and my buddy I brought down kinda weird when we would have huge smiles on our faces while we loaded the mags to their actual capacities!! lol

You will find that 3 gun matches go much longer then your typical IPSC match. The resetting the stages can be a killer!

I will echo lonedrone you are finished now when it comes to other shooting sports....

I am Definately out of the loop on this one. Would you mind explains why no pinning? I swear I'm not trolling.....

How sweet it is to be so unrestricted :D
Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy this same freedom in Canada some day soon

My only complaint is how tired I get after going through a 30 round mag... It's a lot of work if you're not used to it!

That looks like so much fun. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I don't think you even reloaded once (other than shotgun of course).

Looked at Custer's website and looks pretty straight-forward. I am going to have to try that out one day. My AR15 is considered a SBR in the U.S, so I guess I'll have to get 16" min barrel for it.

Yeah I don't think I reloaded my rifle on any stage and only reloaded pistol once or twice.

They have a match near the beginning of the month. They call it a tac rifle but apparently its more of a 3gun now.

Paperwork is relatively simple and normally doesn't take that long. My first one took 6 days to get it back approved from the day I sent it off. although its taking a bit longer now due to the government closing. I'm sure it'll be backed up for a bit even though their back to work.

The people at the range are really friendly and helpful. They only gave me the "you weird canadian" look once or twice when I was grinning ear to ear while loading the mags to capacity!:p
