Hi . Is there a decent scope that can be bought that will handle the recoil of a .338 Lapua fpr around the $500 range .

They will all pretty much handle a Lapua... The lenses are damped for rearward recoil... If they have to say "for magnum use" I woud question the quality, period... What many cannot handle is the 360 degree vibration of "springer" air rifles.

I'd go for a Bushnell elite or a Redfield in that price range.

I have a few " Magnum " springers and they sure do have hard recoil / rebound issues .
