Problem with my Baikal MP153... HELP

Hey Guys;

So, my Baikal MP153 will sometimes fire the first two rounds & leave the 3rd sitting on the elevator & not chamber it. Touching the elevator immediately chambers the round... Any ideas what's up? I only use it for waterfowling, so it's firing the 3.5 inch steel rounds...

I know little of them, but does the "load weight" as shown in this pic matter?

Just throwing a (likely) random idea out there.
 
It didn't do it today, same shells used... I'm going to clean the hell out of it & see if it solves the problem.

Maybe I will reverse the recoil spring on the mag tube & see if that has any effect...

It's weird, when it happens, it fires the first two rounds & leaves the third live shell sitting on the elevator... A gentle touch of the elevator from underneath, immediately chambers the round. (Don't confuse this with the bolt locking back as if it fired the last round.)

I fired about a half box of ammo today, 3.5 steel & no issues... Now to clean it & lube it up sparingly.

None... It didn't do it last time out... But I will clean it, lube it up lightly & reverse the main recoil spring for the next time out...

Not sure what the issue is, when it does it, it just takes the most gentle touch on the elevator & it chambers & you can then fire it... Weird & the first time I have ever had any trouble with the MP153

I have an older Ithica model 51 that will do that on last shell when shooting 2 3/4" shells.
I found if i take mag tube apart and clean it it feeds last shell better after that.

When the last shell is released from the tube, it needs to get a hard push to hit the release button in front of trigger group enough to activate lifter.
Second shell is no problem as 3rd shell in tube is pushing on the 2nd shell.
My buddy just bought a 153 last Thursday and against my advice just brought it Sat morning when it was raining without taking it apart and clean and re-oil it.
A mix of oil that came with gun and water slugged up that gun real good.
he managed to get 2 ducks before it started jamming up.
After lunch back home and a good cleaning and a lubing of Rem oil ,we went back out to my woods
and patterned several loads (in the rain) and it worked flawlessly.
 
I have an Mp-153 and over the years, I found it's best to carry a spray can of Remington oil in the ammo box and spay around the bold carrier before every hunt.

Maybe if it's an older gun or has been used a bunch, the mag. tube spring is worn out/catching on something. Try maybe stretching it out to increase the pressure it puts on the last round or replace it with something beefier.
