And folks are talking about French cheese and wine...but I am wondering, will we be seeing $2000 Blasers and $1000 Sako 85s soon? ;)

Well, if you go by the prices they pay for firearms related stuff in Europe, we won't be winners...

Free trade with Europe should scare you more with the near 100 % prospect of watching Canadian jobs get shipped over to poor European nations with high unemployment rates. I hope this Free trade thing doesn't happen.

Same thing happened with the Canada/USA/Mexico free trade agreement - USA lost basically all of its manufacturing to Mexico. One of the reasons the USA is in so much trouble right now - no more manufacturing jobs.

Don't be disillusioned, free trade is for corporations to avoid tax and to make their widgets at the lowest prices to sell to the people who can afford to pay the highest prices for them (see "suckers").

Its ironic that at some point all the jobs being shipped oversea's will cause our economy to crash because noone has any jobs to buy the widgets.

Not to mention the Nanny-Crat regulations that will come along with this new arrangement.

Just wait until the US agrees to the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) - this is like NAFTA on steroids.

Still haven't figured out the logic behind this ? We're basically importers of European goods, only minor exporters and it's not going to change their policies on our oil or seals and Climate change, etc. etc. If anything they'll do their damnedest to make us comply to their vision of the world.

Grizz
