Hey everybody, long time reader, first time poster!

I recently got myself a Tavor, and I really dislike the sling/mounts it comes with. I've been searching all over the place to try and figure out if there is a way to change out at least the front mount for a qd cup with no luck. I see the US made ones have them, but I can't seem to find any parts or info at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I hear ya, I don't care much for tying a string to my rifle for a sling mount. It's too much of a PITA to remove.

I know this isn't what you had in mind, but its still better than the string method.

Plus its easy to switch to a single point.

This has been working for me, its simple, functional, and it doesn't get in the way when doing reloads. I still wish we had the mounts the US versions have, but I can live with this.

And welcome to the forum!

That front 'eye' looks like it may take an HK/MASH hook, the rear hole looks like it might (you'd need to measure, then ask Darren at One Shot if it'll work) take the BFG long wire loop. That way you could run a Vickers sling. Few things could possibly be cooler than a Tavor running a Vickers sling.

Yup!

This is my solution here, except that I've swapped everything after the first buckle for a vickers sling. Works like a charm.

I actually just came across your video just after I posted this :p

It seems like that's probably the best option. I might try to run something similar and see if that wire loop that enefgee was talking about will work or not.

Thanks for the input!
