Shot my XCR-L 223 / Aimpoint PRO for the 1st time today............

............. Man am I HOOKED on black rifles now!!. The one complaint I have with the XCR is that it's a bit on the heavy side but I guess I get used to it.
Such a blast (pun intended) to have a non restricted modular black rifle that accepts the RA 10 rnd mags.

I bought a Rob arms XCR in black(7.69) It was my first ever "new" gun. It has some kinks but now they are ironed out and she shoots like a dream. Love it, happy shooting buddy.

Fired 100 rounds in about 40 minutes including sighting in the PRO and even shot the last 10 rnd mag rapid fire without a glitch. Barrel gets freaking hot!!!

And the rifle isn't heavy, your just not eating enough steak and eggs before you go shooting haha

It may seem heavier to me because I have ruptured tendons in both shoulders. I'm sure 20 years ago I'd have been shooting it with 1 hand !

How reliable is the XCR? I have a friend who owns one and it worked perfect. The fact that it is NR is really cool.

No. Those are not LAR mags. They are XCR pistol mags and have a different angle at the bottom which gives that angled appearance as opposed to the straighter look with the LARs.
I actually like this look.

Ditch the factory mags and get pmags. The factory XCR-M mags wouldn't work worth a chit in mine.

I'm using the factory XCR-L pistol 10 round mags coupled together with the couplers Wolverine is selling. They work like a dream and it's a tone of fun having
20 rounds in the gun legally!

I assuming your talking about the XCR-L which I'm not aware of any mag issues but the XCR-M mags are crap.

Sorry I was just trying to provide some info to the other member who says he owns an XCR-M with a little heads up. Factory mags caused butt loads of issues.

Wolverine supplies just got lots of 308 Pmags in.
