I'm leaning heavily towards an Eotech EXPS2-0 to top off my Tavor. As much as I would like an Elcan, my budget is $500-ish. Realistically this rifle will spend 80% of its time at 100yds or shorter.

Any other recommendations for me? I'm not a fan of the Sparc or Strikefire red dots, I'd rather go for quality once.

Great choice!!

Nothing wrong with them at all. Only downside is battery life as compared to an Aimpoint. However I love the reticle better on the Eotech.

I hear you. I have the Aimpoint PRO riding on another rifle, and really really like it. It's one reason I want to try the Eotech.

I see that Wolverine and TSE have them in stock...any other dealers I should check out first?

The only issue I have with my Eotech on my tavor is that it seemed like without magnification, I wasn't using the rifle to its full capabilities. So I got the G-33 magnifier to go with. Good improvement, but I'm still pondering something with more magnification.
For close up work it's pretty slick though.

I've had Eotechs but in the end I always wind up going with an Aimpoint. I really like the reticle in the Eotech but for just about the same price as an xps you can get a Aimpoint micro. It's slimmer , lighter , indestructible and you just turn it on and leave it on , throw in a new battery every 5 years and you're good to go.

Aimpoint TI, Has better wider field of View, lighter, Because of its size/ width- when shooting with both eyes open, the sight body doesnt cover up the shooters left side view.
