Fn fs2000

I have the railer forend on mine with a magpul RVG and I really like it set up like that. Accuracy is better than you might expect, and I really dig the ergo's. One of my "never sell" guns!

Update on the trigger:

I've found a few places in the states that will do a 'full trigger job' on the pack and get the pull down to a fairly smooth 5-6lbs. HOWEVER - you need to send them your trigger pack first. Not gonna happen, as I"m sure these guys don't know the laws and I don't want to get burned. Also, the 'Neu-trigger' is a non-starter, since the guy won't ship out of the US (understandable) and only accepts USPS money orders.

What I DID do - remove the trigger 'bars' and polish them up to a high shine. Re-installed them with a light coating of grease... HUGE difference in the pull already! Makes it much smoother... weight is pretty much the same, but it really eliminates a lot of the 'stacking' feel when working the trigger. The break now is a surprise, rather than a mushy-two stage that I had before.

You can remove the trigger bars WITHOUT taking the rifle apart as well... some guys say it can't be done, but it worked for me! You need to remove them from the rear, and kinda 'cross' the ends of the rods, but it comes out pretty easy. Total time to remove, polish and re-install was about 45 minutes. BEST UPGRADE on my FS2000 to date!!!!

I like the rail, both for aesthetics and for ergonomics. I did use it for a while with the standard forend and it was OK, but I like it with the rail better. Yes, Ian will be doing the barrel for me. Will have to check out the sling!

As an aside: Lots of folks out there with a hate on for the Leopold CQT. I find this odd, as I really like it and the comment that I most often get after showing it to someone is "Cool! Where can I get a sight like that?!"
