Problem with removing barrel from Tavor...

Hey guys, so was cleaning my tavor today and had some trouble with the barrel.... I could not remove it. I'm pretty sure I was doing everything proper, I had that little lever on the opposite side lifted and I still could not get the barrel to unlock with the allen key tool. Yes I was turning it in the right direction haha. Just wondering if someone else had this problem or if I'm just slightly retarded.

did you take the rail and charging handle off first?? take everything off that you can and it should unlock with allot of effort.

Ya I had everything off that needed to be, maybe I'll just have to really reef on it. Just don't wanna break #### lol. Like how much pressure are we talking to break it loose?

ive heard the first time is the hardest but mine is hard every time. i used the biggest allen key i had and when it feels like i am going to snap it the barrel breaks free. just make sure the charging rod is removed because it will get damaged if you try to unlock the barrel with it still in place.

Haul on it. If you're sure all the parts are clear you just need to muscle it.

The better question is: do you really need to take it off right now?

Make sure you lift the lever on the opposite side when turning the barrel wrench! I skipped that part in this video actually

Yes, I have this problem, and my barrel has been off many times. Just reef it, and HAZZZAAA, right, "PressPass?" I have to reef it so hard that I think i'm going to bust my MUT.

Have yet to take my barrel off, I don't even have the funky tool for it. Speaking of, where can i get that funky tool?

You can just make one easy enough or buy one for about $15 out of the US
