T97 barrel issue AND NRR WISHLIST!!!

Yes! The land is privately owned and the club is a association. So a while back some "CLOWNS" were shooting skeet at the 300M range and didn't clean up all the clay pieces and the owner showed up and that was it for shotguns of any type. And the core members are all nice people but they favor black powder and not the "evil" SKS rifles that spray ammo from 50M?????? And my M4 last sunday I did not feel the "love"!!!!! Most days there is no one there but they had a black powder rendevous and they were all there!!!!

What club ?

Yeah no I did not mean that at all. I believe every claim. I bet a good 2/3 of the rifles have some kind of mark or gouge. It sucks but I'm sure it will be all right. If you want flawlessness then here, https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=282&cat=FN+Semi-Auto+Carbines

And the 2 moa is not that hard to achieve with the right optics and the help of a bench and or bi-pod, right ammunition ect.

I wager (In the real world-not over the Internet) that most people with their t97s, would be fortunate to get all the shots into 6 inches at 100 yards, let alone 'three football fields' away, so no ... I don't think that's realistic at all.

With the right optics this would most certainly be possible. People have had consistent sub MOA groups with the old T97 with good optics mounted. I am not digging that thread up again though. Too much work and I have done it too many times.

clearly you don't own a t97

a lot of people including myself are getting consistent 2.5 - 3 inch groups with iron sights, with an optic I don't see 2 moa groups being a stretch at all

We'll, that's surprising... So basically it's just as accurate as many of the Colt AR15 H-bars that I've handled over the years?!

believe me when I say your not the only one that's surprised, I think a lot of people got a lot more than they were expecting out of this $1000 rifle

I took my t97 out today for second time and after 5 rounds, it stopped firing. It loads correctly, but when i pull the triger, it doesnt fire. Has anyone else have this problem? I took it apart on the spot and everything seems to be ok, and functioning, but the firing pin does not seem to hit the primer, im guessing.

I shot 250 rounds through it last week, worked well then. Except today, crapped out after 5 rounds :(

Ryan whats the warrenty procedure? I will email u as well with serial

Another reason to wait for an improved version . ;)

I think the feed ramp and improved magazine release are a must. I ran about 100 rounds through today and had one stoppage with a Norinco CQA magazine. Bullet set back as has been reported. I'll file myself some feed ramps tomorrow.

As for the accuracy, I can shoot it as well at 50 yards as I can my Norinco CQs. I'll try doing a quick 200 yard shoot next week. The "May fragment" velocity threshold for M193 from a 20" barrel is 200 yards anyways, so I don't see the point of shooting a .223 rifle past that range.
