i just don't dig the thin looking mag's.. just looks odd.. the bigger 223 looking mags just complete the look better..

Looks good(not a fan of the wannabe 223 magazines either), but why didn't you customize it yourself?

Aside from supporting my local gunsmith (I've been fortunate to have Casey work on all of my firearms), the customization of this particular rifle involved more than just bolting on parts. The entire rifle (receiver, barrels and rails) was refinished with baked-on KG GunKote and the factory Ruger bolt release was modified so that a slight pull on the open bolt will now let the bolt return fully forward to battery (I'm still not entirely certain why Ruger doesn't make it that way in the first place)...

...all that, and I get a 'warm and fuzzy' with the job being done right by someone who really knows what they're doing ; ) !

The collapsible stock and fore grip are Magpul, the mag is Promag and the charging handle is an aftermarket part that Brownells carried. The flip up iron sights are Troy Industries, the rails are from Iron Eagle Tactical, the 12.5" bull barrel came from Dlask and the A2 flash suppressor was something that was kicking around my parts drawer. All metal parts were refinished using baked-on KG GunKote to give the rifle a uniform looking (and protective) finish.
