sks not feeding

If you hold your hand on the bottom of the mags , kinda lifting up as you let the bolt go, does it fed right? If you grab the mag on the sides is there alot of up and down movement? Might have a mismatched mag.(at the rear locking lug) hope this helps.

yep follow welded in properly. Hence y they do abortions to the mag body mostly now days. Also make sure that your recoil spring is inserted properly.

Hate to say it but Lever Arms will sell you a mag body but I would buy from any other company before I would ever purchase something from that sorry lot ever again.
I would try calling Marstar and begging Frank to let me have one of there spares that are laying around there store.
 
Don't get too fixed on the follower. Although it is the usual suspect, I had a buddy buy a nice refurb recently. It wouldn't feed every other round. Turned out to be a very slight problem on the mag lip. Just required a tweek with a pair of pliers and problem solved. Mag lips are one of the major cause of miss feeds on Enfields. Same thing can go for any mag.

Well. It's all fixed. Exactly how the link described. If anyone has the cylinder type of limiter and having no-feed issue. Check out the link and give it a try.

x2!!! they have to be the lowliest scum I have ever seen in any shop! ... let alone working in one! I have gone there twice... both times I had to refrain from rag dolling those a$$holes... Honestly, their attitude is hard to believe
 
Wish i saw this thread earlier! same problem, tried to fix it similar to what is described in the linked post. but my vice broke off the tail piece on the follower that pushes the bolt catch up. so pretty much garbage.
have to resort to aftermarket mags for now but i really do love those stripper clips!
Anyone know a place that sells the standard fixed mags? or even the spring with follower or just the pinned follower?
 
i purchased couple of extra steel stock ones from a place out in mission bc or couquitlam will see if i can find the name , thinking they are dealer here.
