so I was given approx 300 or so .41mag reloads. I don't own a .41, and prob wouldn't shoot them anyway. most are hollow-points.think they are 240 gr. can't recall stated powder.
ca these be sold for components without taking them apart? I know it's illegal to sell reloads. or do I have to pull them all and sell separately?
any idea what they're worth?

This is not the answer you're looking for, but I don't know what they are worth.

I have a friend that loves his 6.5" Blackhawk in .41 mag. And if someone gifted me 300 rounds of .41, I'd be inclined to go and pick up an 1894S to shoot them with. But that's just me. You could even get an older Desert Eagle chambered for it...

I doubt they are worth much at all, but I could be wrong. I'd get more value out of enjoying them for myself.

don't think I can convince the wife of that. will definitely think about it though.
is it legal to trade these if anybody's interested?

Components = all separate

Assemble them all together an you get ammunition and no matter how you cut it, it's still considered ammunition. Ie, can't be resold if it is self-rolled unless you are gov't approved for commercial factory reloads. You got 'em for free so pass it on and give 'em away for free to a buddy or use it as a good excuse to buy a new gun.

Personally I won't buy someone's reloads no matter how good the price is.

agreed with not shooting someone else's reloads.
I picked up a puller today, and will separate them all. prob put components in ee for trade. lots of small stuff I need still.

Since they are assembled, they are ammunition, so unless they were loaded by someone with the proper licensing, selling them as is would be illegal.

Well, good luck with that. I would never buy someone's reloads, and I would never buy components from someone's reloads that someone took apart. Someone may.

lol, why? i wouldn't use the powder unless i could verify what type it was, outside of that there is no reason not to use them....

if it was me, i would pull the bullets, burn the powder for fun and sell the brass primed. simple, easy, safe.
