Nosler Accubond Long Range

Are they in Can yet and if so where can I buy some, been waiting for the 30 cals for my 300 Wby and 300 RUM

Rayner' Shine Gunworks, Lancer, Sask. had the 210's. I think I bought the last box back in July. Doug said Nosler won't be doing another run of the 210's until spring.

The 190's aren't out yet.

Doug was the only vendor I could find that had any Nosler Accubond LR's.

I have shot the 168's from my 7mm SAUM.

The point of impact was 2" higher than the standard 160 NAB, using the same powder charge. [worked up]
The group size was very similar to the 160, at around Âľmoa.

Nechako Outdoors in PG had the 7mm's.

Regards, Dave

Personally I think I'll stick with the normal Accubonds, after all, they are accurate enough to outdistance my shots on game, and I won't be using the ABLR for f-class or 1000 competitions.

With the shooting I've done with the 168's and 150's, I think I'll be loading the 150's for elk this year. I found they like a bit of jump in my rifle, about 0.030".

That's with a 7mm SAUM & a Krieger 24", 8.5 twist, 4 groove barrel.

Haven't had much time to play with the 168's. I just found a 1/2moa combination quickly with the 150's.

Just received my 129gr 6.5mm Accubond Long Range bullets from Netchako Outdoors. They had more in stock, if someone is still looking for them.

I think this is the only store in canada that has had them!
No other dealer has had as sniff of them yet.

I am hearing mixed reviews on them so far.
Hopefully I ca test Some before I retire! Lol!

I justy got a box of 129g 6.5mm can wait to try em !!!! I'm not too worry about accuracy, but is anybody Killed anything so far with them ???

I would like to know if they do a comparable job as the Accubond 130g even if they got a pretty differant construction !!!

I got a hard time getting these bullets close to the land in my Tikka T3 in 6.5x55, the boat tail is so long that you need to keep the bullet deep inside the case to get the neck to hold it.

I'm at .040" from the riflings, and it seem to be a minimum here to hold that bullet.

I compare to a Berger VLD and the boat tail is way longer on the ABLR !!!!

anybody started reloading them yet ??

I wonder if I'll regret the having 400 of the 'old' 200 grain Accubonds on my shelf?

Nope you won't. I haven't seen any 210gr ABLR's since July. 190gr ABLR's aren't out yet.

I wonder if Nosler ended up with problems comparable to when Berger released the their Gen 1 .338 300gr bullet?
