My truck comes with factory gun storage mounts, one by the drivers seat and the other by the passenger seat so they don't rattle around. As for the shotgun its usually my 12.5" Grizzly.

How hard is it to find a trunk like that? Price range?
Not that hard. If I was to do it again I would get one from Expedition Imports in the US. The dealer I bought mine from in Canada is crooked as hell. Mine is the more desirable long wheel base turbocharged fast axle model whic is the only one I'd consider. They can be had from Expedition Imports for 30,000$ plus shipping and taxes etc etc.
I was a Toyota guy before this and dumped lots of money into aftermarket parts to make a truck something it was never designed to be from the factory. A Unimog just makes sense, factory front and rear air lockers, shift on the fly four wheel drive, 44"x15.5" tires, 20" ground clearance below the axle, 3000 kg payload capacity. It just makes sense.

Most are under 30,000 km. mine came at the higher end at 56,000km. Expedition Imports has one with only a couple hundred KM's for about 30,000$ when I looked recently.
It's a 6 liter inline 6 diesel. It will go forever.
